Yeah I lost some settings I changed and a comment I made, but it's no big deal. I was about to post a follow up to that earlier comment when it crashed, but luckily I made a copy of it (which I tend to do for just such occasions, usually when I lose them) so it's all good. :) I had stated that I was having issues with my personal feed, and showRSS replied, this is my reply back.

@showRSS: Hey thanks for the response. I was just about to repost that I think I got it figured out and working now. I selected three shows for my personal feed, and, to answer your question, yes they did not show up in my uTorrent queue. However, when I added all the show's individual feeds they did.

I think the problem was that, in my personal feed, at first I set it to download in only 720p HD only, and it didn't work. However, later I decided that I didn't want to use up the extra space needed for HD episodes so I set it to standard def only. After, I did this and changed the feed in uTorrent it started working. The thing I realized is that, of my three shows, I don't think two of them have torrents of episodes in HD, just standard, so it didn't have anything to download when getting HD only. As for the other show, although it has HD and standard versions, it is between seasons and doesn't have any recent episodes to get.

Thus, now episodes of the two SD only shows appear in my uTorrent queue; while episodes of the other show with none that are recent do not (but I assume it will if and when they make any more episodes). I see now why it didn't work, but I did not realize this at first. I just figured since each show had the option to get HD only, that it was available. Also, like I said I'm new to this site, and pretty much RSS feeds in general, although I'm kind of old hat when it comes to torrents. I'm just glad I got this figured out now because there is a new episode of one of my shows tomorrow, and I want to see how this works. Hope this might help anybody in the same boat.

Also, I see what you mean, when I added the individual show feeds I got a lot more episodes of each one. I like the way it is now with less episodes, but now I'm wondering about something. How does the personal feed pick how many of each show to download? Before, the individual feeds showed ten episodes of each of the SD only shows, and twenty of the other (ten episodes in SD, and the same ten episodes in HD). Now it shows four episodes of one SD show, three of the other, and none of show that has no recent episodes. I guess it's based on how recent each episode is? Is there somewhere we can set this?

I don't mind about a couple of settings or comments, but it looks like once again:

Transmission Push has stopped working again since the recovery.

It would be really nice if someone could look into that again.

"It works! Now, any show marked as "pushable" (you have to set this on a per-show basis, clicking the gear near the show name in your list) will be pushed directly to your Transmission client (remember that if it's offline, it won't be pushed again)."

Sadly, it doesn't work despite this - NOTHING has pushed successfully since Thursday for me. :-(

... still broken. Everything is set up properly, nothing gets pushed. :-(

I hope this time it won't be a couple of months until Transmission Push gets fixed.

Just a thought. Why not set up a RAID 5 for this server so that you'll have less hard drive issues? I have a website myself and it's on a RAID setup so that I won't really have to worry about losing data unless 2 or more drives crash at exactly the same time. And the odds of that happening are huge. Again, just a thought.

No, every service needs a little feedback negative or not. But I think in the case of showrss, the admins are not really paying attention to the blog comments, let alone the numerous feature requests... you think people didn't get pissed off when twitter went down in the early days, think again.

rather than interject your useless posts speculating about someone's possible personal agenda or rather your projection of that imagined agenda, try reiterating some of the changes that the site needs: like a great feedback mechanism. there are plenty of free "bug" tracking services that the admins could implement to help us communicate with them.

fuck, a show request function has been needed for months. my suggestion: tie the tvdb database functions into the showrss individuals' show database, by correlating their list to a central tvdb API key for the entire site (thereby limiting the API calls tvdb would see.

I'm not chris, I didn't say don't complain. Although when it's free, you really can't claim breach of contract - there isn't one.
I'm saying needless vitriol doesn't do anything to help. After all, any douchebag can come in and scream "You suck!" He's not bringing anything to the table but noise. That's why I heckle him. I want him to either put up or go away. It's difficult to concentrate while someone is pissing in your ear.
Your post, on the other hand, points out a problem and offers a suggestion for a solution.
I haven't been pointing out needful things because other than additions to the list, I haven't seen anything I want to change. I don't use the push feature that is apparently driving Chris into a blind rage.

Is there any reason why certain shows are updated and not others?

For example, there have been 2 other episodes of "The Client List" but the listings here show the last one being at Episode 4. Same thing for "Scandal".
